This is a great article published a few weeks ago by Steelers head coach Jason Begelhole.  Simplified:

1: Players: Play to the best of your ability give, 100%. Don't Referee, question or judge the referee's that is not your job.

2:  Coach’s: Be a positive leader, motivate, coach, and support your players. Don't Referee, question or judge the referee's that is not your job.

3:Spectator’s: Watch the game, shout, support and encourage your team be positive. Spectators should not coach their child from the grandstand or abuse the opposition or the referee.

4:  Referee’s: Enforce the rules and maintain order on the basketball court to the best of their ability. They will make mistakes as do the players learn from them and move on.

If Players, Coaches or Spectators want to referee then become one.  Otherwise concentrate on YOUR role not there's, and the world will be a nicer place.
