U12 Boys from last year

Head coach report
Under 12 Boys, played Div 1 did not win a game but effort was very good playing. Lead most games at half time die in second halves. Good job overall. Proud of their effort. In hindsight we should have been in Div 2.
Under 12 Girls had their best carnival for the year, played Div 2 made it to the Grand Final but lost to Riverland. Great last game to beat Yorkers to make the final but was not their day. Great Defence but shooting let them down. Well done girls.
Under 16 Boys, played in a Div 1&2 comp joined, they had a tough draw. Started very slow and did not win a game but I must say I was very proud of their efforts in the Quarter finals never gave up and all tried. Excellent work boys.
Under 16 Girls, played Div 1, won 2 lost 1. Due to a bad draw they hit the team that won the GF in the quarter final losing by 18. Great game against Yorkers to win by 1. Even though they did not make the semi due to the draw they played very well. Good job girls just unlucky.

Head coach report
Overall all teams performed very well, two teams playing Div 1 both making the semi final. Under 18 girls were very unlucky only losing by 1 point, under 14 boys fought back in the second half of their semi final game making Eastern hills work for their win.
Two teams played Div 2 with the Under 14 girls winning the grand final over Pt Augusta easily in the end. The 18 boys finished 3rd, some very exciting games to watch.
Thank you to the players, coaches, umpires and parents for their effort over the weekend we could not do so well without the support of everyone involved.
Under 12 and Under 16 state champs will be played on the 22nd and 23rd again in Adelaide.
Under 18 Boys are too cool for photo's!! If anyone has a team photo please send it in.
