DEMONS SEAL THE 3-PEAT! 🏆🏆🏆

Demons have cemented their place in history, claiming three straight premierships with a commanding 57–17 Grand Final victory over Roopena!

From the opening tip, Sheedy’s Demons looked every bit the experienced finals outfit. Relentless defensive pressure set the tone early and never allowed Roopena to find their rhythm - as shots refused to fall under constant pressure with the Roos struggling to match the strength and athleticism around the basket.

But while the scoreboard told one story, the night was also an important step for Roopena’s young squad, who were getting their first taste of the Grand Final stage. And the experience will only strengthen this emerging group for the seasons ahead.

There was also a touch of history repeating itself. Many will remember the young Demons side of 2023, who fell in the Grand Final to a more experienced Roopena team. That loss helped shape the championship side we see today – and Roopena’s rising stars may well follow a similar path.

On Saturday's court though, Demons delivered a complete performance. Cameron Benbow dominated the paint with his height and strength, while Clay Crompton and Jackson Grindell attacked the basket and kept the scoreboard ticking over in a polished team display, well supported by Ethan Hards, Owen Doran and Sam Hage, who also contributed valuable points.

👏 CONGRATULATIONS to Demons on their third straight premiership and to Roopena’s young side for a strong season and valuable Grand Final experience.
